Freddy Krueger isn't the only nightmare on the Battle Royale island, as the four core animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's are also lurking in specific locations, waiting to strike unsuspecting players. Freddy Fazbear and Foxy the Pirate are always located at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, which is northeast of Nightmare Neighborhood. These two animatronics will always be protecting the interior of the Pizzeria, unlike Bonnie and Chica, who will roam the map at random spawn locations.
When you enter the Pizzeria, Freddy and Foxy will be on the main stage. If you look at them, they won't move, but as soon as you turn your back, they will attempt to run at you to eliminate you. The best way to defeat them is to come prepared with weapons, as they only have pickaxes.
All FNAF animatronics have 300 HP, so they will be easy to defeat, especially if you attack them from a distance so they have to rush you. Once defeated, they will stop moving and become an immobile shell, which you can interact with to "Possess" for three seconds.
Once you "Possess" an animatronic, you will get to wear their outfit until you are eliminated. However, that's not all they can do! While the animatronics have no extra health or power, they do act as an Extra Life. If you're defeated while wearing an animatronic suit, you will burst out and live to fight again, albeit with 30 Health and no Overshield...
If you encounter an animatronic, it's best to eliminate them and then Possess them so you have an Extra Life without the need for the 1-Up Token. There's also a fun feature where the surviving animatronics roaming the map will ignore you if you're in the shell!
