The first chapter of Breathedge 2 is mostly about getting familiar with the basic tools, finding some raw resources, repairing the train, and helping Babe with a strange device she is trying to fix. In between, you need to keep an eye out for the man's survivability factors like hunger, thirst, rest, and oxygen.
Most resource types are quite easy to find. You will spot many metal balls hanging around the train in the space. Plenty of Electronics boards can be found inside the red panels around the train station. However, Electrical Tape is in some tricky spots that you may not even think to check out if you are not curious enough.
You can find Electrical Tape on the half-broken red pipes that come out of the platform edges. The locations that are marked by a red circle on the map above show the spots where you can find those pipes. I have also included an image of each pipe, so you know what you should be looking for.
Keep in mind that Electrical Tape shouldn't be the first thing you are looking for. Collecting it requires a Cutter, which is a tool that you will find at the end of a chain of resource gathering and crafting. So, first collect enough Metal to craft a basic crowbar, then use the crowbar to gather more metal and some plastic. Now, you can craft Thumper. It will let you extract Aluminium from the ores scattered around the space. You will find these small ores on the asteroids.
Once you have enough Aluminium, craft the Cutter, and only after that can you collect Electrical Tape. Each red pipe will give you two units of Electrical Tape, and there are at least four of those pipes marked on the map above. So, you should have enough resources to repair everything important at the base, while helping Babe with the main questline objectives.
Repairing the Nutri-Pack creator as well as the kettle inside the train requires Electrical Tape. These are crucial devices to repair as they produce high-quality food and water for the man. Eating a Nutri-Pack adds 25 units to your hunger bar, while raw resources like apples only add 6 units.
The kettle is even more important, because without it, you won't be able to produce drinkable water. So, you would either have to find water packs while looting crates, or just eat ice, which isn't as efficient as boiled water. And don't forget that you also need ice to produce oxygen.
