There’s a new Critter Companion in town, and this strange creature is leaving behind some Mysterious Black Feathers for you to find in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you want to add the Deep Dark Secret Goose to your collection, you need to find all of them.
Gathering all of the Mysterious Black Feathers hidden around the valley is a tough task that requires a lot of patience and slow progression. It’s a fairly tricky endeavor to work through, so here’s how to get all Mysterious Black Feathers in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
There are four Mysterious Black Feathers you can get, all of which are unlocked by completing Joy’s questline in the Memory Mania event. Here’s the mission you need to tackle for each one and where the Mysterious Black Feather can be found.
One quest unlocks per day, and as soon as you complete it, you then need to wait 24 hours for the next one to pop up. Because of this, finding all four Mysterious Black Feathers generally takes around four full days, although it can take a bit longer if you’re not jumping on it right away each time.
The first Mysterious Black Feather is obtained near the end of the Memory Mania Mystery #1 quest.

On the fourth day of this event, you’ll get the quest. This time around, you’ll find a path of feathers scattered around the valley instead of a single one. Follow the path of feathers to reach the Cursed Cave. Inside, you’ll find the Deep Dark Secret Goose, and talking with Joy allows you to obtain it, thus fully completing the questline tied to the Mysterious Black Feathers.
