FC 27 has added a new flavor when it comes to card cosmetics in the form of Signatures and Holographics, and they can be worthy addition to your collections. Of course, both variants were revealed to us in official gameplay reveals ahead of the game’s launch.
However, the game doesn’t exactly tell you the best way to get these rare versions. In this guide, I will explain how these variants work and how you can get them.
Until last year, we had two major types of cards: Basics and Promos. The latter will come in different colors and stat boosts compared to the more dull-looking base versions of the cards. This year, you can also watch out for Holograhics and Signatures.
Holographic cards have a special foil around them that helps them shine along their borders. The base design remains the same as their original version, but they have a shimmer on them. All cards in the game (even Gold Rares) can have Holographics, but they seem quite rare.
Signature items are a rarer form of Holographic items that are even harder to acquire. These cards don’t have their player names and stats on them. Instead, they have the player’s name in a signature form under the player’s image.
While a Signature item might seem lucrative, here’s the catch: they don’t offer any stat boosts, and the signature is fake. Yes, Bellingham’s signature on his special item isn’t his, and the same applies for all other Signature cards.
The main method to get these items is by opening packs, but their odds appear to be quite low. However, there are few guaranteed ways to obtain them in the near future.
While you can spend coins to enhance your FUT Gallery level, it’s best to take your time and not waste them on EA tax. Eventually, you should find a few Holographic items once you have opened enough packs.
