Target is hosting a Pokemon 30th Anniversary Celebration this Sunday, giving fans the chance to draw their own Pokemon TCG card, take themed photos, win giveaways and potentially pick up a limited Mewtwo promo.
The event will take place on September 27 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. local time at most Target stores. Target says giveaways and activities will be available while supplies last, with a store locator available for fans to check participating locations.
Select stores will also offer demos of Pokemon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2, while attendees can shop Pokemon merchandise, games and other products.

The main attraction for collectors may be a Mewtwo promo card. Pokemon-Switch Stock reported that some Target stores appear set to receive 30th Celebration tins and the Mewtwo card, potentially for around the first 100 guests.
A follow-up post shared photos from BritBratTV7 showing the card and the event’s draw-your-own-card activity. The Mewtwo card features the “What’s Your Favorite?” logo, the Pokemon 30th Anniversary mark and artwork of Mewtwo using its Psydrive attack.
