We may not be hearing much about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet until next year, but that hasn't stopped Troy Baker from hyping up Naughty Dog's next game.
Baker, a prolific actor perhaps best known for playing Joel in The Last of Us, is set to appear in the studio's sci-fi action game, Intergalactic, which is expected to release sometime in 2027.
During a panel at Ottawa Comiccon, he answered some questions from the audience, and got onto the subject of this upcoming title.
Baker spends a minute or two talking up the game and the performance from Tati Gabrielle, who plays the lead character, Jordan. Here's the clip:
"You guys are gonna have your minds blown," Baker says. "You are not ready. You are not ready."
"We finally just wrapped the cinematics. Tati Gabrielle is — I don't know how [Neil Druckmann] found two amazing actors to be... He found [Ashley Johnson] for Ellie [in The Last of Us] and he found Tati for Jordan [in Intergalactic]. It's like, what? How do you do that?
She is the spiritual successor. Like there is so much about Jordan and that game of Intergalactic that feels like... Man I feel all of it. I feel Uncharted, I feel The Last of Us, I feel something new.
They're testing the bounds of what that studio is capable of; everything I've seen, they are delivering. It's gonna be incredible."
