If he tries to touch any of Uryu's arms or legs, he will be asking for The Antithesis to reverse the damage, and if his arms get destroyed, he will no longer be able to use Overhaul. Kai would need to be creative to get up close to Uryu, but if he touches his back, shoulders, or chest in any way, even for a split second, Uryu will be gone.
Zeref was regarded as the strongest, most evil Mage in history, which explains why many fans felt as though he should have been Fairy Tail's final villain. He has immense magical power, and he has mastered Ankhseram Black Magic, which gives him the power to kill any living thing he desires. Zeref can create an army of demons, shoot piercing magical bullets, and freeze time with immobilization magic.
