The AUX Room will be locked until you're deeper into another puzzle in Silent Hill Townfall, but when it's time to enter the AUX Room, you're going to face three walls covered in red switches that can be flipped up and down. The goal is to have all the switches flip to the correct sequence to turn the red lights green, but this is immensely confusing without a guide. Below, we'll share a full step-by-step walkthrough of the Auxiliary Lines puzzle in Silent Hill Townfall to avoid you scratching your head.
The AUX Room will only unlock after you've completed most of the Remote Systems Control puzzle during the objective "Relive the events on CCTV", so you won't be able to access this room just yet, unlike the JOE Room. During the objective mentioned above, the prompter will read: The NSO used a locker code provided by management [0825], using the key found there to proceed upstairs and MANUALLY OPEN the AUXILIARY lines.
Once you have this objective, look to the right of the Remote Systems Control to find a locker, which can be unlocked with the code 0825, and inside you will get the AUX Key. So, return to the elevator and enter Level 1 so you can unlock the AUX Room for another unique puzzle.
Inside the AUX Room, you will find a cabinet that contains the AUX Disk. Once obtained, use the AUX Disk on the computer in the same room, and you will get the Auxiliary Lines document that looks like this:
Therefore, your objective is to connect the circuit of all the switches by following the pattern above for the lines marked with one, two, and three white paint stripes. If this is still pretty confusing to you, then we'll explain in more depth below along with the answers.
