Xbox has officially revealed the price and release date for its limited-edition Series X25 console as part of the company’s ongoing 25th anniversary celebrations.
The translucent green console was first unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase in June, but Microsoft held back key launch details. Now, the company has confirmed exactly when players can get their hands on one.
Pre-orders begin this week, though Xbox is giving some of its most dedicated players an early chance to secure the console before orders open more widely.
The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition will officially launch on November 13, 2026, for $899.99 in the US.
Select Xbox fans are being invited by email to pre-order the 25th anniversary collection beginning August 26. Pre-orders will then open to all players in select markets on August 27 at 7 AM PDT through Xbox and participating retailers while supplies last.
Orders are limited to one Xbox 25th anniversary collection per customer.

The console features a translucent OG Green design inspired by the original Xbox, with components visible beneath its shell. Each console is also individually numbered with a unique engraving.
