Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new clip for the upcoming Resident Evil movie from director Zach Cregger.

It's a pretty violent one too; so much so that it's completely age restricted, and so there's not a lot of point in embedding it here. If you want to check it out, head on over to YouTube.

Otherwise, it shows protagonist Bryan (Austin Abrams) walking down a street in Raccoon City before spotting a zombie chilling out on a rooftop. Said zombie then leaps off and practically explodes when impacting the ground.

Brushing off the incident, Bryan continues down the street, only to find that a bunch more zombies have decided to leap off the building, causing huge bursts of blood as their bodies hit the ground. Bryan makes it through unscathed, realising that the creatures are capable of death after failing to get back onto their feet.

It's short and sweet, and thankfully is merely an extension of what we've seen in the trailers so far. We're keen to stay unspoiled on this one, and we think this particular clip is pretty safe in that regard. We can't wait to check out the full movie when it releases later this month on 18th September 2026.
