The Lunar Game is a quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker that will see you hunt down the Boyar Bakir.
It’s easier said than done, though. The Lunar Game is a tournament where several warriors fight against one another to see who is the strongest. Bakir does it for sick entertainment, of course, but if you win, you’ll be able to take him on, one-on-one.
In this guide, we’re breaking down who you should spend time trying to ally with, and how to solve Bakir’s riddle in the maze so you can hunt down Bakir the Boyar in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Before the tournament, you have three time segments to spend speaking with the other competitors. You can convince them to ally themselves with you, or sabotage their efforts. The competitors are as follows:
Not every competitor here wants to be your friend. In fact, some of them will be outwardly hostile toward you, and you don’t have enough time to spend on all of them. We’ll tell you now that The Rat isn’t interested in your lofty ambitions, and won’t help you regardless of what you say. The Cockroach, meanwhile, is too hostile and is out to win no matter what. So here’s what we’ll do:
Poison The Cockroach’s alcohol. His booze is behind where he sits, and a bush on the left (use Focus Mode) will provide the perfect amount of poison to upset his stomach. This will cost one time segment.
The Marten will open up if you reply with, “No, it’s a nice change after Farkas,” in regard to The Marten not being talkative. Follow that up with “I heard the boyar can’t shut up either.” This will cost one time segment and will win The Marten to your side.
Spend your final time segment speaking with The Porcupine. Telling him that you intend to kill Bakir will win him over.
