The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta has kicked off, and already the best weapons are clear. Guns like the ISO Nightshade are already surging to the top of the meta, with other weapons like the M4 and HAN 86 being excellent runners-up. If you are playing the Early Access Beta or jumping in the following weekend for the Open Beta, here is a Meta Tier List ranking every gun in Modern Warfare 4.
By far the best SMG in the Beta right now. Boasts excellent iron sights, very little recoil, and some decent range for an SMG, albeit one that was quickly nerfed. Great for aggressive and fast-paced players.
A versatile all-purpose weapon. It shines up close and towards the medium range, essentially being the jack of all trades for all scenarios. Shines best when paired with the Hurricane Grip and the M4 Hurricane Apex Attachment.
By far the easiest weapon to use in the game. It boasts very little visual recoil, but its damage is on the low-side. The higher on average fire rate makes up for this though.
An excellent SMG to use within the immediate 10-meter range. Boasts the highest level of fire rate in the game, a rapid TTK, and a large magazine to compensate. There is some noticeable visual shake, but overall a good SMG if you stick to strict close-range fights.
Currently, the only Sniper Rifle useable in the Early Access Beta. Boasts great stopping power with the potential to get consistent one-shots when going for the head or upper chest. It's heavily reliant on accuracy, but great for Sniper players.
Definitely a solid weapon for players that enjoy burst rifles. This gun fires three-round bursts, dishing out solid damage and being great for long-range engagements. The full-auto version is also strong, but requires the Apex Attachment.
While other Assault Rifles simply outshine it, the Kastov 762 is still a pretty good weapon. It boasts some noticeable visual shake, but the iron sights are good, and it boasts the second best damage per shot of the full auto options.
