The In the Light of an Icy Moon quest in Onimusha: Way of the Sword eventually takes Musashi into the Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama, where the path forward is not immediately obvious. The Find the Hidden Path and Take the Oni Shortcut objectives make it trickier to continue the quest. This guide explains exactly where to go, what to interact with, and how to complete these objectives without getting stuck for long in Onimusha WoTS.
The Find the Hidden Path objective takes place in the Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama. After entering the area, continue along the main path rather than trying to search for a hidden entrance immediately.
Keep walking until a large headstone-like monument comes into view. It stands among the trees and has glowing markings carved into its surface. Examine this monument when prompted. It reads: "When going through hell, one must keep going."
Eventually, Musashi will come across another large stone monument with different monk statues on each side. It's hard to miss, so just keep your eyes peeled. Start interacting with the monk statues until you find one with the description "Hell." Use that statue as a landmark and continue walking straight to find the hidden route.
From the monument, walk straight toward the rock wall. At first, it might look like just another ordinary section of the environment with nowhere to go, but simply walk through the rock and the path will reveal itself.
As Musashi approaches the area, a hazy patch of fog becomes visible. Now, activate Oni Vision while searching around the fog and rocks. Doing so reveals an Oni Glyph that cannot be seen normally. The glyph is glowing on top of a rock, so it becomes much easier to spot once Oni Vision has revealed it.
Approach the glyph and interact with it. Musashi will use his Oni Power on the glyph, transforming it into a portal.
Walk through the portal to complete the Find the Hidden Path objective.
