The frigid wasteland of space in Orbitals, Maki and Omura travel to the Frozen Depths to retrieve the first of three Casettes, specifically the one that was stolen while they were in the Deep Matter Caverns.
By shooting the small capsule device to the right of some large pistons, this will allow you to travel past them and into a colder environment. Follow the little ball until you reach an entrance you can park at.
Hop out and grab the Liquid Launcher and Beam Cannon and head on inside. The first puzzle is a simple verticality puzzle where both players will need to jump in unison to ensure they aren’t too high for the other.
For the next, use the jump pad to the left to propel yourself up and dash over. Be cautious not to touch the ice formations as they will freeze you to death. Use the Beam Cannon to get rid of them.
When you get to the next door, use the Beam Cannon to open it and the Liquid Launcher on the wheel inside to bring the elevator outside down. The Beam Cannon player will go up and shoot the door for it to open.
Use the Beam Cannon to make a path to the small heater platform as these icicles will kill you. This will unlock the next area, which is a staircase. You will come across a water pad on the second floor but ignore it for now. Keep going up until you reach another water pad. Use ZL to blast the blockage in front of you and start shooting the pad across the drop. This will get rid of all the ice in the room.
The next small puzzle will be large devices that will squash you if you move over them. To avoid this, use the Liquid Launcher to freeze them when they’re at ground level. If you need adjustments, use the Beam Cannon to unfreeze them.
The same can be said about the platforms in the next room. Unfreeze and freeze them to ensure they’re positioned correctly so you can travel. Finally, freeze and unfreeze the fans to proceed.
