Geralt has stumbled upon a man trying to assist a corpse in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, but perhaps this kindness for a stranger goes deeper than it seems. The Extreme Cosplay side quest in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine is missable if you don't know where to look, and you will have to examine a crime scene and fight some pretty tough enemies, which is why this walkthrough will aid you at every step.
Head east from Beauclair and you'll eventually find Gaston, who is trying to heal a corpse. You can find the exact location marked on the map above. Before you kneel before Durand, you will want to know that this begins a fight against six very strong enemies, so make sure you come prepared, as Hanged Man's Venom will be a very useful Oil to use on the Elven Sword, and Quen will help shield you from attacks.
Once you kneel before Durand, six statues will come to life. There will be four elves with pikes and two elven mages. The mages are the biggest threat, so kill them first, as they will shoot lightning attacks at you from a distance that deal immense damage.
