In Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, it can be tough to prioritize what to improve first, given that there's so much going on between your shop and each individual run. Understanding how the shop and combat work is valuable, but they don't contribute as heavily to progress as your inventory. While it may seem simple, you have to do more than simply transfer relics from chests to your backpack.Different relics will have unique effects based on where they're located in your backpack, so it's never a good idea to aimlessly move things into the bag without understanding the effect each Curse will inflict on the surrounding relics. Here are some tips to organize your backpack to maximize your profits on each run.
It's critical that you know what each relic's curse does, because they may affect the other relics that are in your bag at any given time.For example, if you don't notice that the relic you're putting in your bag will burn all the "pointed relics," you can destroy something that could've been quite valuable.
Conversely, some relics have curses that only activate when they have been burned, shocked or petrified. This may destroy the relic with that curse, but might benefit a different relic in your bag.
Pay attention to which relics have other status effects, like Armor or Overcharge.
Different curses make a big difference in where they should be placed in the backpack. Below, we'll list out the different types and how they affect other relics.
"Triggers every time a specified action is performed."
These curses are not removed from the relic after it gets used, so be sure to hold onto these types of relics to maximize the benefits they provide.
