Dead by Daylight Adds Diablo, Jason, Stranger Things Collabs

Dead by Daylight Adds Diablo, Jason, Stranger Things Collabs

Behavior Interactive brought tapes to reveal their plans this Halloween, much like Jigsaw or Creep. Each VHS was imparted with pride in their work. But the tapes from the Dead by Daylight developers have treats and not the kind of darkness you would expect from those aforementioned killers. The tapes revealed a full Halloween horror marathon across the entire month, packed with new releases, Twitch drops, collaborations, and seasonal events that carry those who serve the entity through six straight weeks of horror.

Behavior Interactive's October of Horror broadcast laid out everything we mentioned, plus more of what players can expect. If you’re all about the game, it’s in your best interest to get ahead of the curve and hear from the horse’s mouth exactly how things are shaping up. There are deep cuts, developer insights, and behind‑the‑scenes details that highlight how much love goes into each collaboration.

The Halloween marathon begins with new Hallowed Blight skins. Behavior confirmed that they're adding new blighted outfits for Jason, Houndmaster, and The Knight, expanding one of the game’s most recognizable seasonal aesthetics. These cosmetics have always had the tone of a fresh, corrupted jack-o-lantern look.

In week two, the Academia Rift opens up with quests and rewards that feature school‑themed outfits. Players can progress through the Rift to unlock cosmetics and challenges that fit the "academic" theme.

Haunted by Daylight returns as the centerpiece of the season. The event brings limited‑time gameplay modifiers, themed challenges, and seasonal rewards that define October for Dead by Daylight fans.

Week four drags players down to hell for the Diablo collection. The collaboration was shown briefly during the tenth anniversary broadcast, but the full reveal stands out as a Blizzard crossover with real weight. One of the environment artists even mentioned that working on the necromancer skin was her favorite part of the collaboration, adding a personal touch to the release.

This part of the marathon focuses on Día de Muertos seasonal designs to bridge Halloween into the early days of November.

The marathon closes with the Lights Out event and new Stranger Things pieces. Vecna Steven and Nancy headline the final week, giving fans another round of Hawkins‑themed content that fits neatly into the VHS horror framing with all the 80's shenanigans those two elicit.
