The Free Spirit quest is located to the north of the Skellige region, past the Ancient Crypt. There is a boat near that Fast Travel point that you can take to sail to the island.
When you reach the southern side of the island, you will find two quest markers on the two NPCs in front of you, who seem to be fighting, although the fight looks rather one-sided. The guide below goes over where to find the books Ivar requests in the Free Spirit quest in The Witcher 3.
As you come across the two Skelligers, you will need to act immediately and kill the Warrior. Otherwise, he will kill Ivar, meaning you will not get a quest here.
