The first real non-humanoid boss of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Daidara is one of the most iconic Genma in all of Onimusha, first introduced in the first game, Warlords. He is a bit of a picky eater, devouring souls to his liking, but it’s no surprise, given his stature and general appearance, he’s no foe to be taken lightly.
Daidara ends up being one of the earlier bosses in Way of the Sword, a creature that introduces the spirit realm to Musashi, all while having to dodge his giant bludgeoning spiked club. This is a two-phase fight that can be a bit challenging, but thankfully, this guide will help you with any tips or tricks to defeat him with few issues.
Probably the most universal attack in each of these fights, Daidara will put his foot down on Musashi.
Daidara will do a sweeping attack that, if you don’t parry, will send him backwards, allowing for other attacks.
Daidara will come charging at you, Musashi, with his right hand up and do a four-hit combo.
Similar to the running combo, this is a four-hit combo but it’s more straightforward.
This is exclusive to the second phase, but Daidara will charge at Musashi.
Daidara has a relatively slow grab, at least compared to more advanced bosses.
