To catch all Aniimo you have to explore the world of Idyll far and wide, but also, know that the time of day influences which Wild Aniimo are roaming around. So, knowing how to change the Time of Day will allow you to set the hour to Noon, Nighttime, Early Morning, or Dusk, and force spawn those species that are only active at certain hours.
With this guide, you will learn how to control the time of day in Aniimo, as well as how to check which Aniimo only appear at a certain time of day.
To change the time of day, open the menu (ESC on PC), then look for the small sliding panel on the right side of the screen. There's a Sun/Moon Symbol. Click there to open the Time Change Menu.
Next, select which time of day you want to switch to, and click on Confirm. Wait a few seconds, and the time of day will have changed. It is as simple as that, and you can do it as many times as you need without a resting period.
Now, this is useful for certain quests like the Bloomville Festival one, where you need to 'rest for the night' in the Village Elder's house. You can go ahead and set the time of day to Nighttime with this method to complete the Quest.
On the other hand, if you want to check which species of Aniimo are only active at certain times of day, you need to open the map menu. Then look for the nearest Bloom and select it to display the Aniimo spawning in that area.
In this case, you will notice we have selected the Sea of Flowers area, and Flutternym Night Form (which is exclusive from Nighttime). Then, to capture this Animo, we will have to switch the time of day to Nighttime and look around in the Flutternym spawn zones.
Remember: some Aniimo only spawn during certain climatic events (Rain, Thunderstorm, etc.), so you might need to wait until one of those weather effects is active, or get the Silver Medal of that Area, then go to the Nurture menu (located in Blooms) and you can change the weather from there.
