Xbox owners can pick up a special pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 ahead of the game's launch, unlocking a special edition blueprint. Despite a crowded slate of games over the next few months, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is looking to recapture fans, letting them get a taste in the recent beta and offering some unique rewards for those who pre-order early.
Excitement appears to be growing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 ahead of its October 23 launch. Having just come off of both an Early Access and Open Beta period for Modern Warfare 4, Infinity Ward has continued to make changes based on player feedback. In fact, the studio even released multiple updates during the open beta, adding new content and maps while making in-game adjustments to things like audio, weapons, and more. As expected from the series, fans will have plenty of opportunities to score some rewards and in-game items well before the game launches, including a special Xbox exclusive item.
In celebration of Xbox's 25th Anniversary, Infinity Ward revealed a special pre-order bonus exclusively for those who digitally pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Xbox Series X or Series S. As a special variant of the Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint, this unique OG Xbox version features a translucent OG green skin for the M4 Assault Rifle. Players will be able to see the weapon's internal features, alongside the familiar Xbox icon on the side of the weapon. It also comes equipped with multiple attachments, including the 11.5" Shortline Barrel, FTAC Dominion Mizzle, FSS FIreline Grip, SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic, and ZLR ASP50 Stock.

Obviously, the visual style of the M4 Blueprint lines up perfectly with the other Xbox Anniversary products being offered by Microsoft. Earlier this year, Microsoft revealed an OG green special edition Xbox Series X console and matching controller, both celebrating the milestone 25th anniversary of the brand. The translucent appearance allows players to see the inner workings of the controller and console. In addition, Xbox also revealed even more OG green-style accessories, partnering with other brands like Razer, 8BitDO, PowerA, and GameSir to release various items like keyboards, sling bags, earbuds, and more.
One thing to note here is that this pre-order offer does not extend to PC players who pre-order through the Xbox app or Gamepass on that platform. One user asked for clarification and received a direct response from the Call of Duty account, confirming that the OG Green Xbox version of the Inner Circuit Blueprint is only for Xbox Series X/S players. However, PC players will still unlock the Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint, but it'll instead have the mil spec visual treatment with the same attachments and performance level alongside the other Modern Warfare 4 pre-order bonuses.
For those who may not want to pre-order an Xbox version, Call of Duty has other opportunities to unlock in-game loot ahead of the game's launch. Call of Duty is once again teaming up with Monster Energy, offering new Modern Warfare 4 rewards including weapon blueprints, operator skins, Double XP Tokens and more after redeeming codes on the can tabs. Xbox is also in the middle of a promotion with Fanta, also offering rewards for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7, along with other Microsoft first-party titles like Diablo 4, Forza Horizon 6, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, the Fanta promotion is much more restrictive, only offering a limited number of in-game items to be claimed per week, with World of Warcraft items being even more limited.
