Monkey D. Luffy returned in One Piece chapter 1192 on September 6, 2026, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #41. Needless to say, his powerful Gear 5, stemming from Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika, was in full flow in this chapter as he continued his battle against Nero Imu by teaming up with Loki. In doing so, we ended up being treated to his new strongest attack. With the help of Loki, Luffy was able to create a brand-new attack powerful enough to pierce through Nero Imu's Shield of Emptiness: Vohu wa Tohu. This makes it his official strongest technique that he has performed to date.
Unfortunately, Luffy cannot perform this technique on his own, but regardless of that, it is an incredibly powerful assault that is strong enough to take out just about every other character that exists in the One Piece world.
One Piece chapter 1192 was released in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #41, and it continued right from where things left off in the previous chapter. After a two-week-long break, most fans were hoping for an intense chapter this week, and that is precisely what Oda delivered. The aftermath of the Three Generals' Gokoku Sovereignty was shown in this chapter, but it was clearly not enough to stop the King of the World, Nerona Imu. He quickly took to utilizing the powers of his Akuma no Mi to revitalize his body. Nerona Imu also showed us a unique power of being able to fuse the weapons that he gets from the Creators of the World Government, or, in other words, the 19 Kings who fought Joy Boy long ago.
In One Piece Chapter 1192, Imu was seen fusing two of the weapons, namely the Blade of Nothingness: Vohu and the Blade of Chaos: Tohu, to create the Shield of Emptiness: Vohu wa Tohu. This shield was incredibly powerful and was even able to stop the strikes of Luffy's Gear 5 and make his hand bleed. To this day, no character has blocked a strike from Gear 5 and caused him damage at the same time, making Imu the first one to be able to do so with his all-powerful Shield of Emptiness.

However, this shield was eventually broken through, thanks to the collaboration of Luffy and Loki to create the strongest technique that we have seen to date. To pull this off, Loki used Ragnir and launched Monkey D. Luffy with tremendous force, as well as the lightning that his Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr powers are capable of manipulating. Luffy then unleashed his own Dawn Bullet, and together, these two attacks fused to create Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Bullet.
