GIANTS Software and Straight4 Studios continue to add content to its Project Motor Racing game. The one-year anniversary of the release of the game isn't too far off, and there have been multiple car packs released. The release of the V8 Power Pack DLC will appease many American car enthusiasts as both cars and a circuit come in this pack. It is included with the Year 1 Season Pass, which is available separately. This DLC pack is available today on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Nine cars in total are a part of the V8 Power Pack DLC for Project Motor Racing. All are from American manufacturers, and all of these are involved with the Trans-Am series in the States. Albeit, the 2023 Ford Mustang AU and 2023 Chevy Camaro AU are pulled from Australian Supercars. These are realistically the same cars in the American Trans-Am series. The legacy cars included are American Icons from that legendary era.
The pack also brings the 2022 Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro in their race forms. All cars in this pack are from three distinct eras of competition with the V8 Evo from Australia, USV8 from modern Trans-AM and Historic USV8. The roundout on these classic cars includes the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 in its iconic orange and black, the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with its dark blue paint job highlighted by red, orange and yellow striping, the 1970 red, white and blue AMC Javelin, and the iconic Sunoco-blue 1968 Chevy Camaro Z28.
All cars in this pack are from three distinct eras of competition with the V8 Evo from Australia, USV8 from modern Trans-AM and Historic USV8.
The V8 Power Pack for Project Motor Racing joins three other DLC packs released since launch. The original released back on November 25, 2025 was the Group 5 Revival Pack. This included five silhouette formula cars along with the 1978 BMW 320 Turbo and 1980 Ford Capri Zakspeed. The Japanese Prototype Pack launched on May 4 while the GT Icons Pac launched on June 23. The game would receive Rocky Knoll Raceway along with this release. Other expansion include the GTE Decade Pack and the Aussie Rivals Pack. A World Endurance Pack is still slated for release in the future.
Michelin Road Atlanta is coming to Project Motor Racing in the V8 Power Pack. This circuit continues to rise in prominence in the virtual sphere as it wasn't really ever included in video games in the past. This track is extremely fast and features two chicanes and a couple of 90-degree turns. It is all about the backstretch and the downhill. Michelin Road Atlanta has recently been included in major racing games, both cars and bikes.
The American Trans-Am series still runs at Michelin Road Atlanta on a yearly basis. It is a favorite track day location for both cars and bikes, alike. It has always played host to the end of the IMSA calendar with the Petit Le Mans, which is a 10-hour endurance race held at the track in October. Both the Grand Prix and Short circuit will be included as layouts for the track in Project Motor Racing. The track features 12-turns, elevation changes and major braking zones. Michelin Road Atlanta joins Rocky Knoll Raceway as the only current DLC tracks that have been added to the game. If you do not own the Year One Season Pass, the V8 Power Pack DLC will run you $14.99. The Year One Season Pass saves up to 30% over buying each pack individually. It retails for $49.99
