September’s here, which means the deluge of new games arriving this month is about to begin. It also means we are less than two weeks away from the launch of Marvel’s Wolverine, and Insomniac has been kind enough to share the game’s entire trophy list to give us something to read while we sit around sharpening our claws.
Trophy lists can typically spoil story beats, especially in a single-player-focused game like Wolverine. Insomniac naturally doesn’t want to spoil its new game’s story weeks before anyone has even played it, which means this official list of every trophy you can unlock in Wolverine is entirely spoiler-free.
Well, that actually depends on what you consider a spoiler. There is nothing that even remotely hints at how Wolverine’s story will unfold beyond some of the places you’ll visit, although those locations have already been shown in trailers. However, if you consider details like collecting whisky bottles and pushing enemies out of planes spoilers, then sure, this trophy list does include spoilers.
Wolverine’s platinum is called “I’m The Best There Is…”. No, that’s not a reference to the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be, Bret Hart. It’s the first part of a quote Wolverine has said so much in the comics that it has become his catchphrase. “I’m the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn’t very nice,” is the full quote.
Some of the other trophy unlock requirements really lean into Wolverine not being very nice. There’s the pushing people out of planes trophy mentioned above, killing 75 enemies using Tornado Spin, and impaling an enemy on the environment. We’ve seen that happen often in gameplay shown off by Insomniac, so I'm assuming it’s a trophy we’ll unlock pretty early.
Trophies are also tied to the game’s collectibles, with one for finding all the whisky bottles, and another for collecting all the material crates. You’ll have to do some very un-Wolverine things if you want that platinum, though. One of the game’s trophies can only be unlocked by freeing stuffed animals from a claw machine, while another requires you to activate a kissing toilet. I’m already excited to find out what exactly a kissing toilet is, and how Wolverine will react when asked to activate it.
Wolverine releases exclusively on PS5 on September 15, 2026, and I mean exclusively. The latest PlayStation ad reaffirms that the publisher has no intention of putting its games on PC from now on, which might mean Wolverine is never officially playable on another platform. If you’re planning on picking up a copy and you want that platinum, you can study the full trophy list below, along with what you’ll have to do to unlock each one.
