PlayStation players may have spotted the first signs of a new rewards programme, with the PS Store seemingly offering money back on select purchases.
It has been a busy period for PlayStation, with a fresh State of Play, new PS Plus additions and major releases including Marvel’s Wolverine. However, despite the new games, it’s certainly been a while since we had any rewards schemes for dedicated fans.
Many may remember PlayStation Stars, which launched back in 2022, allowing members to earn points and digital collectibles by completing campaigns and buying games. Well, that’s no longer the case, with Sony announcing that the scheme would close.
Despite the closure, Sony did explain that it was exploring new ways to evolve its loyalty efforts. Now, players believe its replacement may have started appearing inside the PS5 store.
Several players have spotted limited-time $10 Wallet Credit offers attached to eligible editions of upcoming games.
Titles reportedly included in the promotion include Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Halloween: The Game, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and Star Wars Zero Company, and more.

According to those who received the promotion, purchasing one of the featured games awards $10 in PlayStation Store credit, which is subsequently added to your wallet when purchasing a participating game.
