The campaign in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is arguably one of the best we've gotten in years, one that almost perfectly gave a budding farewell to Captain Price's story while also delivering the most exhilarating set of missions filled with action and high-spectacle moments. And as is tradition with these modern COD entries, you also have various kinds of optional in-game achievements that you can unlock with each mission.
After covering those annoying achievements from the second mission, it is time to look at Following Orders, the third mission in Modern Warfare 4's campaign. This mission has different kinds of collectibles, and collecting them will also unlock another achievement for doing it without killing any NPCs. Stick around for this brief guide where I'll walk you through how to unlock both achievements/trophies for Mission 3 in COD MW4.
To get the "No Harm Done" achievement, find the defector's location in this mission without hurting any of the civilians, which is easy enough. Early on, you can also start working toward the "No Stone Unturned" achievement, which requires you to find all contraband and note locations in this mission. Let's start with the latter first. In the first house where you regain control with Ko, he'll ask you to bring the man's wife out of the kitchen. Before doing any of that, let's try to collect everything in this house.
That should cover all the contraband and note locations for this house. For now, if you haven't already, talk to the man's wife in the kitchen, and you'll see a bunch of dialogue options to choose from. Select the following ones:
Go back to the living room and approach the husband for another set of dialogue choices; pick the "Ask about South Korean medicine" option, and the guy should immediately spill the details on the Defector's location, earning you the "No Harm Done" achievement.
Don't worry about the second house; there are no collectibles here, since that's where you and the rest of the military will drag out the defector. However, the last set of contraband items and notes is in the third house shown above, where Ko sends you through the side entrance to search for any potential civilians in hiding.
You don't even need the key, since you can call out to the woman while standing on the hatch lid.
