If you're at all interested in Exodus — the Mass Effect-style sci-fi RPG coming to PS5 next year — then you should definitely give these fresh gameplay videos a watch.
Dropping over the weekend, this footage is brand new, showcasing uncut gameplay across a main story mission. Between YouTube channels ENFANT TERRIBLE and Insider Gaming, there's almost two hours of demo footage to get through.
And again, this is raw, unedited gameplay — and so it's pretty much our best look at Exodus so far. The videos cover cutscenes, dialogue choices, exploration, and plenty of combat encounters.
While I'm not totally sold on the title's tone — the writing's just a bit too cute in places — I do think there's huge potential here.
I'm not saying it's going to measure up to Commander Shepard's timeless escapades, but it's certainly on track to scratch the Mass Effect itch. The pacing in particular appears to be on point; this is a tightly designed mission.
What's more, Exodus seems rock solid in terms of quality, even though this is obviously footage from an early build. The game isn't out until the 7th April, remember.
