Y'know, given the fact that the first Pokémon movie was quite literally called Pokémon: The First Movie, we perhaps should have known that more would be on the way.
But there are 24 now. 24. With a 25th on the way very soon, in fact. And so if you fancy playing catch up and have a spare $400 lying around, Amazon US has a rather fetching new blu-ray collection up for grabs.
Launching on 24th November 2026, this massive set comes housed in a Pokéball (because of course it does), with all of the discs contained within a cardboard booklet of sorts. Now, for the price, we perhaps would have expected something a little more future-proof, but provided you keep everything in its packaging and stored away safely, it should serve you well for many years to come.
But crikey, that's a lot of money, huh? In an age of streaming, though, you've gotta pay the big bucks to get nice physical sets that will actually last and not get yanked from your streaming library at a moment's notice.
We'll keep an eye out for something similar in other regions, but from what we can see so far, this seems to be limited to the US.
