If you want, you can end Blood of the Dawnwalker early by simply leaving Vale Sangora.
You’ll meet a small handful of characters from outside the valley as you explore the game, and they’ll all tell you the same thing: leaving the valley isn’t impossible; it’s just really difficult.
There’s one place that’ll allow Coen to freely leave Vale Sangora, and in this guide, we’re breaking down how to leave the valley and what happens when you earn the A Hero They Deserve trophy and achievement.
First off, you’ll need to increase your Shadowstep range by purchasing the Shadow Dweller perk from the Vampirism skill tree.
Next, head West of the Military Camp, and you’ll encounter the Coward’s Path Shrine. Follow the path West, and you’ll eventually come across a broken bridge. Head to the bottom of the valley underneath the bridge, and you’ll be able to fight some enemies for a few fallen treasures.
During the day, the route will be inaccessible, but at night, you’ll be able to use the Shadowstep ability to cross over the broken bridge.
Follow the path all the way West, and you’ll come to an open gate that’ll allow you to exit Vale Sangora.
Exiting the valley will immediately end the game and roll the credits. This is a valid ending, but you won’t be able to save your family or end the rule of Brencis, disappointing all of your allies and friends from Laslea.
