Scorchhowl is a fiery companion you can add to your team in Aniimo from very early on in the game. However, if you want Scorchhowl to grow stronger (and look cooler), you're going to want to hunt for the Thunderstorm Scorchhowl, and we'll explain exactly what you need to do to get yourself this powerful new form.
You can find the Alpha form of the Scorchhowl in the Beast Fang Ridge. To find the Thunderstorm Scorchhowl, look for the storm cloud in Beast Fang Ridge on your map (as shown above). If you can't see one, then try changing the time of day, as this should also alter the weather type inflicted on the location.
Next, you will want to look for a blue, sparkling Aniimo logo on the map. This symbol indicates a special spawn. It could be either Prismana or weather form. It does not necessarily tell you where the special form Aniimo can be found.
To find the exact location the Thunderstorm Scorchhowl is spawning, you'll need to do a little hunting. Follow lightning striking the ground to find the Thunderstorm Form of Scorchhowl. Once found, you can either battle it to increase your catch chances or go straight into the catch with a higher-level Aniipod.
If you've caught a Thunderstorm Scorchhowl before but didn't have good stats on it, you can change another Scorchhowl to the Thunderstorm Form to keep the good stats but have a unique look for the cost of Morph Orbs, which can be obtained through the Store menu for 300 Glimmer per orb.
If you have an orb, just select the Scorchhowl you'd like to make into a Thunderstorm Scorchhowl, click the exclamation point tab on the top right, and select Change Form. Click the arrow next to the image of the changed form to select a different one if Thunderstorm isn't automatically selected.
Morph Orbs cannot be used to change into Prismana Form, even if you've caught one before.
