Whether you’re a premium collector or a competitive player, Legends Awaken looks to be an unmissable set.
The Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME is about to pass 11 million sales this November, after releasing just one set. There are no plans to slow down, though. October 30 brings Legends Awaken, with cards as legendary as the second set's title.
We mean that quite literally, as this set introduces all-new Legendary Pals. These cards are so explosive, they must stand alone - only one copy of each named legendary can be played in your Base. Legendary Pals are pricey summons, but their extraordinary Power levels are worth investing in.
Case in point: Jetragon - Legendary Guardian Dragon, a flagship card from the new set. With 3 Strike and 1700 Power, Pals don't get much tougher than this. And, as an SSP, they don't get much rarer, either.
Legendaries have potent powers to back them up in battle, too. Jetragon, for example, exiles two Pals that cost 7 or greater from the Graveyard to give itself Vigilance. If both were Legendary Pals, Jetragon also Stands up to three Legendaries.
Add more Legendaries to your deck, and there's immense potential for synergy. Jetragon pairs particularly well with Frostallion - Everlasting Rime, a Legendary Lucky Pal who continuously reduces the cost of your Pals by two.
Plus, at the end of your turn, Frostallion lets you draw until your hand has four cards. Card draw is one of the most crucial parts of a strong Palworld deck, so this is a Pal that deserves its Legendary title.
When combined, Frostallion and Jetragon are powerful additions to the best color and element in the meta. Blue and dragon decks dominate, and these Legendaries make them even more of a threat. They're not the only archetype growing stronger, though.
