Peacock has a solid lineup of movies and original TV shows for November, kicking off with the addition of major franchise favorites like Fast & Furious and Spy Kids. But the most notable new releases for the streamer are some promising Peacock Originals and the streaming debut of Andrew Garfield's The Uprising.
First up, there's a six-episode thriller miniseries called The Good Daughter, which adapts the popular 2017 novel of the same name. Then, later this month, we're getting a new comedy series called Dig from the mind of Amy Poehler.
If you're wondering what's worth watching, we've gathered together some of our top picks right here. You can also jump to all of the new releases for November for the full list by day.
Technically the third movie in the Fast and Furious franchise (though not chronologically), Tokyo Drift took the series in a totally different direction. This was the first Fast movie directed by Justin Lin and focuses on teenage street racers in Japan. It was the least popular film in the franchise in terms of box office numbers, but it's definitely worth a rewatch.
The Uprising, which was briefly marketed as a Robin Hood origin story, is the latest Andrew Garfield film. Taking place in 14th century England, the movie follows a lowly farmer as he escalates toward the Peasants' Revolt of 1381. With a solid cast of characters, it's worth a watch if you didn't catch it in theaters. As a Peacock exclusive, this is the first time it will be available on a streaming service.
All of the Hunger Games movies, including the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, are coming to Peacock this month. This is one of those franchises that just continues to be massive, largely thanks to how good Suzanne Collin's best-selling book series has been. With Sunrise on the Reaping hitting theaters on November 20, there's never been a better time to have yourself a little movie marathon.
The Alien franchise has been experiencing a resurgence over the last few years, and that's thanks in part to director Fede Álvarez taking a successful swing with a new standalone movie. Romulus is a blockbuster horror movie that fans of the original movies will absolutely love.
Although we haven't had the chance to watch it yet, Dig has the potential to be a solid comedy series you'll want to check out. Created by Michael Shur and Amy Poehler, the show follows four archeologists working at an excavation when they discover a surprising secret that drops them in the middle of an international conspiracy. The series, which is based on the 2023 novel Excavations by Kate Myers, also features Hugh Laurie.
