The legacy of EC Comics is alive and well at Oni Press. Oni has been publishing new anthology series modeled after the classic EC horror and sci-fi books, and one of them is about to get a sequel. Are you ready for Cruel Kingdom 2?

Cruel Kingdom 2 is a six-issue limited series published in collaboration between Oni Press and EC Comics. The new series will also feature tales by John Arcudi (B.P.R.D.), Ramón F. Bachs (Star Wars), Sarah Gailey (Magic for Liars), Sami Kivelä (The Forever Home), Curt Pires (Fireborn, Super Mondo Mega Mutts), SOM (Crocodile Black), and Alison Sampson (Department of Truth), among others.

Cruel Kingdom 2 #1 will be released on September 2. You can preorder a copy at your local comic shop.
Previous Oni/EC collaborations have included Epitaphs From the Abyss, the war-themed Shellshock, and the vampire-themed Blood Type.
