CD Projekt Red and Blizzard are teaming up, and that includes bringing Geralt of Rivia to the world of Diablo 4.
The recently announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will launch on Battle.net on September 29, the same date as other platforms.
Players who purchase Songs of the Past on Battle.net will gain access to a Geralt-themed skin in Diablo 4, allowing Geralt to slay monsters and demons in a whole new world.
Blizzard made a post on the announcement, while CD Projekt’s similar announcement focuses on the company’s history with and love for Blizzard games.
“Being a long-time fan of Blizzard games, I’m very excited that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – the first game I worked on after joining CD Projekt Red almost 12 years ago – is now coming to Battle.net,” writes Amelia Korzycka, community and social media manager at CD Projekt. “There was no way I could have imagined any of this when I saw that group of people wearing StarCraft T-shirts back in 1998.”
She continues, “The special skin will be available when pre-purchase opens for Songs of the Past on Battle.net, for any player who buys the expansion. Those who come later needn’t worry either, as the skin will also be available to anyone who purchases Songs of the Past when it launches fully next year.”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered was announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, and will release on September 29 as a free update for anyone who already owns the game.
