Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has released its Freerun Descent Leaderboard Event following the end of the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta. With the release of Season 5 Reloaded, players have already been able to play Freerun Descent and master the level. However, starting September 3 at 10 AM PT, you can now complete the course for some free rewards. Here's everything you need to know.

The Freerun Descent leaderboards run for a total of 3 hours, with multiple running from now till the event's end date. Check the event page in game for the start times.
To complete the Freerun Descent Event in Black Ops 7, you will need to complete the Freerun Descent course in the fastest time possible to reach first place. To do so, make use of shortcuts where you can, but also try not to rush, as doing so may cause you to make a mistake, which can rack up multiple faults over time.
The easiest shortcuts come with the Grapple zones, as you can simply skip segments by grappling and swinging off portions that the course does not direct you to. However, you should also try finding ways where you can skip jumps, wall jump to opposite points to bypass lanes, and more.
The Black Ops 7 Freerun Descent Event begins on September 3 at 10 AM PT. It will run for a total of 7 days, officially ending on September 10 at 10 AM PT. Since all of the rewards tied to the event are cosmetics, they will remain exclusive to the event itself. This means that you have a week to unlock each reward before they are gone for good.
