Out of all the co-op games flooding Steam in recent months, Bombanana has been standing out thanks to its unique premise of playing as either a mute, deaf, or blind monkey, all working together to solve the set of challenges tied to each bomb.
Much of the fun from Bombanana, of course, comes from who you're actually playing with, however, and how, given that you'll need to use its in-game voice chat to avoid spoiling the puzzles in the three-player co-op game.
Once you press play in the main menu, you'll be taken to the multiplayer screen, where you can create your own lobby, join a public one, or enter a code to join a private lobby made by a friend.
If you want to host for yourself, all you have to do is press the orange create lobby button and either invite two friends through Steam, the in-game invite button at the top right, or share the lobby code listed at the top of the screen.
Clicking the lobby code will also instantly save it to your clipboard, allowing you to simply paste it to your friends either through Steam Chat or another third-party messaging app.
If you don't choose a private lobby, random players will likely fill your lobby within a few seconds of making it.
Once you're inside a lobby, you can change several settings, including what level you're playing (based on how many the host has completed), which monkey you're playing as, if the monkey selection will be randomized, and mods that offer an endless and customizable mode.
Unfortunately, given that Bombanana's cooperative premise revolves around three players working in tandem to help defuse the bomb, there's currently no way to play Bombanana completely alone. If you don't have two friends willing to buy the game, however, you can still play online using the Lobby List function.
