Xbox's Platinum Trophy equivalent was made public earlier this week, and it's been exciting to see just how many Mythic Achievements we've unlocked since we first picked up an Xbox 360 controller.
Mythic Achievements are an additional reward for unlocking all of a game's base achievements to reach 100% completion. As it stands, Pure Xbox Editor Fraser Gilbert is rocking 8 Mythics, with the likes of FIFA 14, Rocket League, and a bunch of Telltale's The Walking Dead games. Whereas, Staff Writer Craig Reid picked up 36 Mythics playing titles such as Alan Wake II, Signalis, End of Abyss, and the wonderful, Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping.
Craig is currently toying with the idea of starting a new "Become Mythic" feature. The idea is to post an article for every Mythic earned, describing what it was like to unlock the achievement, talk about the game a little bit, and to see how many he can get in a year. It's not an original concept - in fact, it's inspired by our sister site Push Square's 'Going Platinum' feature written by the lovely Stephen Tailby.
We think these new full-completion accolades are a very smart addition to the Xbox console experience, and we'd really like to know just how many our lovely Pure Xbox community has.
So, let's hear it, gang! Tell us how many Mythic Achievements you have by voting in the poll below, as well as sharing your most favourite Mythic'd game in the comments section.
