Total sales for anomaly escape game The Exit 8 have surpassed three million copies, publisher PLAYISM and developer KOTAKE CREATE announced.
The Exit 8 first launched for PC via Steam on November 29, 2023, followed by Switch on April 17, 2024, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 8, 2024, Xbox Series on January 8, 2025, iOS and Android on March 27, 2025, and Switch 2 on August 29, 2025.
A live-action movie based on the game premiered on August 29, 2025.
Total sales for The Exit 8 were last reported to have surpassed two million in August 2025.
