Solo Leveling has a big project coming in 2026 that fans all over the world are incredibly excited about. With new TV anime content scheduled for this year, and Solo Leveling: Beyond the System set to be released in 2027 or 2028, fans have turned to a new video game that's set to expand the official canon lore of the world tremendously, and that is Solo Leveling: Karma.

This video game's release date is now closer than ever before, and for the occasion, a brand-new trailer featuring both animated content and gameplay footage of the upcoming game has been revealed for audiences to enjoy.
September 17, 2026, was set up to be a big day for fans of the Solo Leveling series. That is because Netmarble Studios had previously announced that they would hold their own stage during the huge Japanese gaming event — Tokyo Game Show. Tokyo Game Show ran from September 17 to September 21, 2026. During this event, the first day proved to be the highlight, with the biggest reveals.
For Solo Leveling, this meant new information reveals, specifically about its upcoming 2026 game — Solo Leveling Karma. As expected, this event proved to be massive for Solo Leveling, and fans were most certainly not disappointed by what was delivered. Netmarble Studio officially unveiled the newest trailer for Solo Leveling Karma; its first since the last one from Aniplex on November 13, 2025. This trailer, however, is different. It features animated content, art, and gameplay footage to top it off.
As far as the animated content goes, we saw Solo Leveling Karma take some scenes directly from the anime. These scenes showcase a wide array of characters like Jinwoo and the South Korean S-Rank Hunters, among others. In this trailer, we also see a new, never-before-seen illustration of the Monarchs of the Solo Leveling world. These new illustrations take direct inspiration from the Manhwa panel featuring these dangerous foes of Sung Jinwoo.
The gameplay footage is, however, what most fans were looking forward to. It specifically focuses on Jinwoo and puts into play his new powerful abilities. There are also some new 3D animated scenes, especially near the end of this new trailer. The biggest highlight of these new animated scenes includes Cha Hae-In, Sung Jinwoo's love interest in the original Solo Leveling series. Here, instead of an ally and love interest, she acts as a major antagonist sent forward by Antares as a corrupted version of herself. Cha Hae-In and Jinwoo clash their blades, and at the very end of the trailer, we see a small scene with a brand-new character, Azarea, the Goddess of Benevolence, hinted to be one of the Outer Gods or an Itarim of the Solo Leveling world.
Solo Leveling Karma is definitely not your average Solo Leveling game. It sets itself in a whole other league compared to the likes of Arise or Arise Overdrive. What makes Solo Leveling Karma so special isn't its gameplay. Instead, it is as important as it is because of its lore and importance to the overarching lore of the Solo Leveling world. Solo Leveling Karma features a story co-written with the original creator himself, Chugong, and it explores the untold story of Solo Leveling's epilogue.
At the end of the Solo Leveling novel and manhwa, Sung Jinwoo decides to start over by using the Cup of Reincarnation. With the help of the Rulers, he is able to turn back time. With time rewound, Jinwoo sets out on his ultimate goal to save all the lives lost and defeat the Monarchs single-handedly. This sets him up on an extremely difficult journey, spanning 27 years in solitude in a dimensional crack. Unfortunately, the details of this journey Jinwoo undertook were never revealed, neither in the web novel nor the manhwa.
