On September 18, 2026, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex returned with the release of chapter 37 and continued the post-Momoshiki arc. This new arc of Boruto has set up incredibly exciting battles and also given us a villain with a unique, dominant aura akin to Madara Uchiha himself. This villain also stems from the same clan as Madara, that being the Uchiha Clan, and his strength as well as abilities are remarkably similar. As most fans would know, this villain is none other than Hidari, who holds the powers of the Uchiha, thanks to his parent body — Sasuke.
The Uchiha have always played a massive role in the Boruto series, both on the side of the protagonists as well as the antagonists. In an era torn by war, the Uchiha have often been disillusioned with the world order and sought to create peace in their own way. Both Madara Uchiha and Obito Uchiha tried to establish a peaceful world in their own way, and in doing so became major villains. It must be said that, in the entirety of the Naruto cast, the Uchiha made for the best antagonists and gave us tremendously well-written characters.

Now, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is going back to its roots by giving us another powerful Uchiha-themed villain in the form of Hidari. In doing so, Boruto is giving us the first proper villain that has the blood of the Uchiha in the entire story since the fall of Madara in the Fourth Great Ninja War. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 37, which was released officially on September 18, 2026, Sarada Uchiha was taken by Code to the hideout of the Shinju. There, Hidari did not waste even a second attacking her, and she escaped by a hair's breadth. Now, an official battle has been set up in this new post-Mamushi arc, which is sure to push Sarada Uchiha to the next level. Even more importantly, this arc will flesh out the character of Hidari and, in doing so, give us another intriguing villain, possibly the best in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series so far.
