The first few hours of Breathedge 2 focus on exploring the areas near the train and gathering as many resource units and crafting materials as you can to build basic tools and repair essential machines inside the train, your temporary base. Aluminum, Electrical Tape, Wires, Glass, and Plastic are some of the early materials that you will be looking for, and for this guide, we'll focus specifically on Plastic.
The best source of plastic is a spherical-shaped object that is usually found near the edge of platforms. Most platforms in space have sharp and spiky bars coming out of them near the edges. Sometimes, you will spot grey spherical objects attached to the end of a spiky bar. If you get close, you can break that with a Scrap and collect plastic.
The first instance of this plastic sphere is right above your own train. Head to the roof above the train and look at the edge on the front side. You will find this spherical object. Now that you know what it looks like and where to look for it, it will be easier to locate them. The map above already shows the location of up to 5 plastic sources, which should give you 10 plastic units in total. That's enough for all your crafting and repairing needs earlier in the game, but even if you need more, you know where they usually spawn.
Backpack, Cutter, Thumper, Flashlight, Twister, and Alkaline Solution are some of the items and tools that you can craft with plastic and some other materials in the game.
Intact instances of plastic balls are less common. A few of them spawn inside a glass tube north of the train station. The tube is hard to miss, as it is a uniquely shaped corridor with glass windows all over it.
Another instance can be found near a halved train wagon north-west of the train station. It is located next to two giant yellow tubes. There is also a corpse of an astronaut floating around the wagon.
These two locations that I mentioned also host some glass balls. This is actually more important than plastic to collect, because glass can only be found in its intact form in space. There is no way, at least for now, to extract it from a dedicated source.
