Most of the quests and main missions players come across might not have a puzzle linked to them, so arriving at the Konstig building in the Evacuation Zone is bound to be a surprise.
This is one of the many secret hideouts in Control Resonant, and to gain entry to the secret room, players will have to complete the puzzle. The guide below offers the solution to this puzzle and where you can find it again in case you left it for later.
The Konstig building is located right in the middle of the Evacuation Zone, and if you have already visited the location, there will be a “?” marker on the map, making it very easy to return to the location. In case it is your first time arriving at the secret hideout, as is the case for all secret hideouts, you will find the entrance blocked by an enemy encounter. Once all the Brute enemies have been taken care of, the entrance will open up.
Head inside, and you will find several paintings in this room, as well as a note on the front desk that mentions four different paintings that have been sold: Journey, Windows, Thunder, and Tides. This is your only clue to the puzzle, and you can interact with the button on the column to change your pick.
You have to select the four correct drawings in order to open the secret door, and the answer lies with the paintings mentioned in the note. Since the words themselves don't pinpoint the exact image you need to pick, you will need to understand what the meaning of each word could represent.
The first is Journey, and you need to select the middle image, which shows some trees in the distance as well as a road leading toward them. Since this is the only image with a road, which defines the term journey, this is the correct choice.
The second one is Windows, and the correct answer is the first painting, which has the twisted branches. The other two paintings here are similar in a sense and don't represent the literal meaning of window at all, so by the logic of elimination, the first one is the right choice.
The third one is Thunder, and the correct answer is the first painting here, which looks like a V-shaped tree. The reasoning behind this could be a couple of things. Firstly, it is the only painting that shows the sky where the thunder can be seen, and secondly, it is also known that lightning frequently strikes tall, isolated objects, like a single tree out in an open field.
