Lynda's challenge execution is one of the few situations in Chapter 4 of Halloween: The Game where it pays to wait it out a bit. The trick is to use your abilities, but use them quickly. Bob is off on his own for a little bit, but can you get to Lynda before he comes back? We'll walk you through this unique challenge to ensure your murder of Lynda goes off without an issue!
After the cutscene of Bob and Lynda arriving at the Wallace house, they will start in the living room. Lynda realizes Annie isn't around and calls someone to ask if they know where she is. With no word on Annie's location, Bob and Lynda take that as a green light to go upstairs to the bedroom and spend some personal one-on-one time together.
Make sure you shut off the bedroom light before they get to the room.
Wait for Bob and Lynda to finish in the bedroom, and Bob will go downstairs. He tells Lynda to wait for him and not to get dressed. This gives you the "wearing the sheet" part of the challenge. Michael spawns in the bathroom next to the bedroom.
Wait for Bob to go downstairs so he doesn't see you come out of the bathroom while he's on the way down. If it isn't already, turn off the bathroom light. Use your Shape Jump to go into the bedroom with Lynda after she picks up the phone and starts talking with someone.
Stand in the opposite corner of the room and exit Shape Jump next to the bookshelf behind the door. She will only stay in the bedroom if the couple didn't detect you before this moment.
We had instances where Lynda didn't get up to use the phone. In this case, we were able to get into the bedroom closet and stalk from there, grab her from the bed, and take her to the phone.
We also had instances where the door wasn't left open. In this case, from as far away as possible, open the door, then Shape Jump while in the bathroom to enter the bedroom undetected.
