Players change ratings and retirement plans every year, which is why in FC 27, you might want to bring back a few classic players to recreate some nostalgic and powerful teams. Although you can't return retired players, you can still sign players who left your favorite clubs to return them to their own team and rebuild a classic. There are many teams from different leagues that you can rebuild, but here we only mention five clubs that are worth investing time in to rebuild their prime-time squad of the last 10 years.
If you want to have an easier time signing your favorite players, it's recommended to readjust some settings in the Transfers & Scouting category of your manager career. Set Negotiation Realism to Light and Transfer Approaches to Loose.
It's difficult to bring back Real Madrid's superstars, as most are on the verge of retiring, but that doesn't mean they won't be available forever. The retiring players are in the final year of their contract, and you cannot sign them in your first season. However, when the next season begins, some of the retiring players may sign new contracts or renew their existing contracts.
It completely depends on your luck, but in one of my simulations, I managed to sign Luka Modrić and Isco in the second season, while Cristiano Ronaldo, Ángel Di María, and Keylor Navas all retired.
Speaking of available players, you can sign Casemiro, Nacho Fernández, and Jese in your first season. All players are available at a negligible transfer fee. Unfortunately, free agent players like Vasquez, Carvajal, Benzema, and Ramos are not included in the game, which is a shame.
Overall, Real Madrid is not an ideal option, and you can't really bring back that stellar team that won back-to-back UCL titles, but at least you can try!

Although Tottenham won their most recent trophy with Big Ange after many years, they didn't win it with their best squad in the last ten years. If you ask Tottenham fans, they probably like the 2018/2019 squad more. The team managed to reach the Champions League final under Mauricio Pochettino. Although they didn't win the trophy in the end, that was a magical run for Tottenham.
