In Mortal Shell 2, Fragile Tarstones are special Support Tarstones that don’t work the same way as other Tarstones. However, that doesn’t take away from their usefulness. In fact, Fragile Tarstones are the best way to farm Gold Coins, Gloom, and Glimpses in Mortal Shell 2, and they provide a convenient method of revival after death. Here’s how they work.
In Mortal Shell 2, Fragile Stones are Tarstones that break upon repeated use as their durability runs out. Unlike regular Tarstones, which can be unique and can only be found once in a playthrough, Fragile Tarstones can be found multiple times. All Fragile Tarstones occupy the Support slot in the Tarstones menu, which means that at most, you can equip four of them at the same time.
Coincidentally, there are only four types of Fragile Tarstones, all with different effects:
Upon death inside a Dungeon, gives the option to revive at its entrance.
Fragile Tarstones cannot be upgraded at the Tarforge, and they don’t have different tiers.
