The Boruto manga went on a hiatus in July and completely skipped August. Now the series is set to return this month, and the excitement is steadily building. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 37 is set for release on September 17, 2026, and fans can read the manga chapter for free on Manga Plus at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time.
This month's chapter is going to be focused on Sarada Uchiha, the Shinju, Code, and, most importantly, Boruto Uzumaki himself. These characters are going to play a crucial role as a new arc is undertaken in the Boruto series, which could very well facilitate the return of the legendary Sasuke Uchiha as well. Most importantly, this month's chapter is going to see Sarada in a tight spot as she is faced with not just Code but also the duo of Hidari and Jura. As such, we are in for quite an exciting chapter with Boruto Uzumaki trying his utmost best to get to Sarada as soon as possible.
The last chapter of the Boruto series ended with Sarada Uzumaki being kidnapped by Code. After realizing that Boruto intended to teleport to them, Code had his markers removed from Sarada before he took her to the hideout of the Shinju. Koji delivered a warning to Boruto Uzumaki, but by the time he teleported to Konoha, Sarada was already taken captive. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 37 is going to pick things up right from where the last chapter left off, and we will see Sarada being taken to the hideout of the Shinju. This hideout has previously been seen in the story on various occasions, but no one truly knows where it is. Code already has his Claw Marks inside the hideout, which is why he can freely teleport there whenever he wants.

Now that Sarada is in the hideout, a confrontation is most certainly going to break out very soon. It must be remembered that Hidari, who is the main antagonist to take down in this arc, intends to consume Sarada Uchiha. Given that he is the clone of Sasuke, he believes that his purpose will be fulfilled when he eats Sarada and finds out the answer to all the questions that he has. As such, he is most certainly going to play an important role in Boruto: TBV Chapter 37. Sarada Uchiha and Hidari's confrontation is going to be exciting to witness, but Jura will be the center of attention as always. We should also not forget about Code, who was primarily responsible for kidnapping Sarada. As to what role he will end up playing here, we do not know, but needless to say, his role is growing in the story with each passing arc.
While Sarada Uchiha will most certainly be kidnapped and taken to the Shinju hideout in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 37, a lot of attention will also be given to Boruto Uzumaki. In the previous chapter, he tried teleporting to Sarada but failed. Now that his marker is not on her, he cannot teleport to her and doesn't even know where she is.
This is a very good opportunity for Boruto Uzumaki to upgrade his skill set. In order to save Sarada, Boruto Uzumaki invented his own version of the Flying Thunder God technique long ago. However, this technique is far inferior to the one that Minato and Tobirama used, which was instant and allowed them to teleport anywhere that they had marked with their seal. Boruto Uzumaki, on the other hand, can only teleport to certain uniquely shaped objects that he has infused with his own chakra. At the same time, Boruto needs to focus quite a lot to be able to teleport to these objects properly, which is why his version of the Flying Thunder God technique is very weak.
