Here we go! Microsoft has just announced as part of today's Xbox broadcast at Gamescom 2026 that both the Xbox Series X25 console and X25 controller are going up for pre-order, and we've got release dates and prices for both.
The Xbox Series X25 console will include the controller as part of the package, and will release on November 13th, 2026. Pre-orders go live August 27th via the Xbox website and participating retailers, but some loyal Xbox customers will be emailed today with a chance to lock-in their pre-order early.
It'll also come with Halo: Campaign Evolved for free as part of the package.
"Beginning today, some of XBOX’s most dedicated fans will be invited via email to pre-order the XBOX 25th anniversary collection. Tomorrow, Thursday, August 27 at 7 a.m. PDT, all players in select markets can visit the XBOX site or participating retailers for an opportunity to pre-order while supplies last.
The XBOX 25th anniversary collection launches on November 13, 2026, for an MSRP of $899.99 USD. Pricing varies by market, and players can check their local Microsoft Store or authorized retailers for region-specific pricing and availability. Pre-orders are limited to one XBOX 25th anniversary collection per customer."
The Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition is also available to purchase separately with a release date of October 20th, 2026. Again, pre-orders are live today, and here's the list of prices for it:
