The donkey is probably your best friend in Graveyard Keeper 2. After all, a graveyard is nothing without corpses, and the donkey ensures that you get a steady supply. While you can bury them in your graveyard to improve its ratings, you can always turn a dead body into a zombie to do your work.
Let’s understand how the system works and how often can you receive a body.
The Donkey arrives in every two in-game days, but there’s an underlying odds system at play. Once the creature arrives, it will arrive after the next two days, but there’s a chance for it to give a miss. This chance keeps rising if the cart does arrive in your graveyard.
This continues until the Donkey gives your graveyard a miss. If that happens, it’s almost certain that the Donkey will arrive after the next two days. The same cycle then follows until your graveyard has run out of space. If that happens, the Donkey might not appear at all until you have made fresh space.
As of writing, you can’t make the Donkey appear quicker. However, you can increase the number of bodies it brings to your base. This is tied with an in-game quest, but I have yet to reach up to that point.
But yes, you’ll be able to eventually increase the number of bodies the Donkey brings to your base. That’s everything you need to know regarding how often bodies arrive at your graveyard.
