How to Make Pottery in Graveyard Keeper 2

How to Make Pottery in Graveyard Keeper 2

One of the first quests you'll need to complete in Graveyard Keeper 2 requires you to make pottery for the twins in order for them to give you a fishing rod. The problem is, the game doesn't really explain where you're supposed to do this, how you're supposed to do it, or what you'll need. In this guide, I'll explain the three main steps you'll need to take to make the six clay plates for the twins to complete this quest in Graveyard Keeper 2.

To make pottery, you'll need to find clay, unlock the 'Pottery 1' tech tree, and build the potter's wheel. I've broken down each of these steps for you in more detail below in case you're struggling with one specific section.

To make pottery, you'll need to unlock the 'Pottery 1' tech tree from the 'Building' section. This costs 10 red and 5 green Tech Points (those little gems that you get from completing actions related to those inspirations).

Once you've got enough of each Tech Point, open the menus and go to the 'Tech Trees' tab. Select the 'Pottery 1' tech and confirm you want to unlock it. This will unlock the ability to craft clay plates, and the blueprint for the Potter's Wheel at your crafting table just outside your house.

The potter's wheel requires two wooden planks and one piece of stone to craft. After you've unlocked the 'Pottery 1' tech, go to your crafting bench in the yard and select Potter's Wheel. As long as you have the materials, you'll then be able to place it in any available slots in the surrounding area.

If you're short on space, use your axe and pickaxe to clear some trees and rocks from the area. They'll also give you useful resources you'll need to make the potter's wheel.

Wooden planks can be crafted by building a Woodworking Workbench 1 by selecting it from the menu. They require one 'Board' to create, which can be crafted at your Sawhorse with logs. Four pieces of stone can be crafted at the Stonemason's Workbench from two stone and four Wood Wedges.

You'll need bronze nails to craft the two workbenches, which are one of the trickier materials to find.
