Fortnite Override Chapter 7 Season 4 is here, and with a new season also comes new items. The loot pool this season is drastically different from the last. So, if you want a rundown on the best weapons and items to be using, then here is a Meta Tier List ranking the best items in the Chapter 7 Season 4 loot pool.
This Tier List will only be factoring in items unique to this season and within the current weapon loot pool. Zero Build specific items and Heals will be excluded for the most part, with Chug Jugs and Shield Potions being the top picks if you are unsure of which to pick. Do note that some of these items may not be in both Ranked or Competitive.
While which of the two main Shotguns you use ultimately comes down to personal preference, for Builds, the Pump Shotgun is the best. At Legendary rarity, it can deal 205 damage to the head, one-shotting players across the board. The pullout time is relatively slow, however, but paired with a good spray weapon, it's objectively meta.
By far the best spray weapon to run alongside your Shotgun. With an exceptional DPS and large magazine, you can easily spray through builds. Great for close-range and box fights, but its accuracy from afar does take a hit.
A Mythic Assault Rifle dropped by Hush (found in Reality's Reign or The Battlewoods). Essentially, it functions like the regular Assault Rifle, but this time with better damage and a faster fire rate. Excellent for long-range engagements or as a good spray option.
While there is often only one of these in a match, the Midas' Masterpiece is a broken item which you should definitely pick up if you have good accuracy. This item deals 3,000 damage to the head, essentially guaranteeing you the kill. Body shots deal a flat 120 damage to the body, which is still high if your aim happens to be off.
This Power Up is definitely a must grab. It's exceptionally rare, dropping from Bosses or Llama Supply Drops, but if you manage to grab it, it will allow you to respawn with your full loadout if you get knocked down.
The 8-Bit Shotgun is not bad by any means, and can perfectly compete and sometimes outgun the Pump Shotgun. The 8-Bit Shotgun functions much like the Tactical Shotgun, being semi-automatic and dealing 100+ damage to the body from Uncommon and above. This means you can get a reliable two-shot kill in Builds, or three-shots in Zero Build.
